Journey Towards a Rich Agriculture
Shakti Agro Technology was founded by Mr. Mahendra Makwana in 1986 and was also known as Jay Shakti Engineering Works, at this early age there were no other plough manufacturers present in India.
Once, Mr. Mahendra received an England manufacturing-based plough as scrap from a local farmer which uplifted his mind to bring such kind of Agriculture Equipments to local farmers to that can make their agricultural business easier and cost-effective.
The first plough by Mr. Mahendra was designed under his uncle’s guidance - tailored according to the Indian land and farmers' requirements and gradually he established a range of Agriculture equipment by the count of 15 products.
By 2011, Mr. Mahendra established “Shakti Agro Technology” and developed 17 various and advanced versions of hydraulic reversible ploughs while having 12 models approved by Junagadh Agriculture University.
